LaBelle found herself once more upon the Mother city. After taking a room and settling into the provided writing desk; a knock came upon the door. "My lady", the stripling asserted as the paladin woman cracked the entryway. She had removed her travel attire and was garbed only in a thick robe, offering a small smile, "Yes?" The stripling continued as he slipped a rolled parchment through the opening she had allowed, "As you requested, this has been posted, official Regency business." She bowed her head to him and gently shut the door.
Unfurling the parchment LaBelle began to read, to discern, to analyze the Regent's words in correlation of the last Regency assembly she attended. After much thought, she brought her parchment and quill to hand, and began a singular letter of her own to the new Lord and Regent….

Lord Regent,
Let this be my singular plea to my Lord and
his council.
To threaten the populace with closed meeting
Lord, is unacceptable. By the actions of very
few, ill witted attendees, would this Regency
truly close its door to the people it is to serve?
An absurd notion, I acquiesce.
My Lord asserts in his missive that the Regency
progresses. What I ask is liberal in dismissing
all that which the Regency has been?
You began the last assembly with the statement
that the Regency is not an institution; it is most
certainly, a Governmental Institution. The
populace needs not new titles to it's leadership,
new addendums, new policy, what it has
necessity of Lord, is a functioning government.
The inept gathering of Loyalists these last years
beneath various Regents has deterred the populace;
many do not longer conceive a Regency. As My Lord
progresses, to remove long-standing, prominent
positions, replacing them with his own choice title-ments,
he does not service, his populace. I assure you Lord, your
populace is not interested in flowering titles,
and revised duties of assignment.
I ask this question Lord, will this Regency discard
the entire Constitution piece by piece as I have
witnessed in assemblies of late, or will it simply
create anew, with which to replace the current?
It has been implied that this lady does not recognize
the changes that have taken place, or the need for
evolution of the Regency. It has been implied that
I remain in the past with opinions and ideals.
I assert Lord, that indeed the needs of the
people do change, the positions of leadership
do evolve; along with these constants there
is one other, principle. Principle of law, of
doctrine, of formality, of consistency, and
principle Lord, in that which the each of
us has dedicated to the populace, not
titles, reformations, not indulgences,
nor threat.
I beg of you not to close these assemblies
to your people. I implore my Lord and his
council to diverge from this revolution.
Govern, my Lord, Govern your people
using the instruments that have been
long in place.
Yours truly,
~Lady LaBelle Decantor~
