Dear Mayor Triest,

My congratulations on having a wonderful group of soldiers to defend Moonglow. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you that the gold hunt for the zoo went extremely well. First sergeant Hepheastus and his group performed remarkably. My thanks to you and all those involved.

I hope that our Mr. Fong will be saved from his sickness by the actions taken by the militia and the help that we received from everyone involved.

On a side note, I would like to tell you about a chance meeting of sorts that I experianced the other day. A man by the name of Therian Narshan approached me and asked if I could pass on a message to you. This man claimed to be an envoy from the Northern Militia and the alliance. He spoke of refugee's. I think that he would like Moonglow to provide homes for these wayward peoples as they have been forced from their lands by the brutality of the war in the far north. I told him that I did not think that Moonglow could provide anything in the way of support for these poor souls. It is my beleif that Moonglow must remain neutral. If we knowingly accept any refugees from the conflict in the far north, it could be viewed as an act of support for the alliance of the north. I do not think that we could accept refugees and still retain our neutral status. I did tell the envoy, that I would pass the word on to you for the council's consideration and so, honesty guided me to oblige this man, hence, the letter to you. This man indicated that he would like to set up a meeting with the council to address the issues pertaining to the conflict in the far away lands of the north. I will abide by the descisions of the council, I am mearly passing along the information that was given to me.

May honesty guide you,
Daz
