We will also pardon all hostile actions against us for any that break ranks to join under our banner and their families spared and protected.

Know this. In the end, Minoc will be ruled by the Dark Order. We will bring about our order and mercilessly stamp out all resistance in this land.

The letter was brought to the Warden that morning. He looked at it and smiled to himself. Their plan had worked initially. However, he doubted that the Dark ones would make the same mistakes again. He had other plans for that. After a sencond read of the request for surrender and shook his head slowly, he would die before he surrendered to these Tyrannical men. The effort would be doubled. For with this ultimatum, there could be only one possible response if they did not comply.

As he rode towards the back of the town, he handed the letter to one of locals, one of the few left that had not fled after the taking of Vesper and the continued fighting in the area. "Take this to Pitt. Tell him to raise the Dark Order's colors high and set them ablaze, publicly so their scouts may see."

The Warden of the North rode out then, to meet with his placed scouts in the area, informing them to hold their positions can continue their stealthy patrols.
