Greetings Lord D'Ardan:
It has been some time, since I have seen or spoken with you. I know that many times in the past our blades have crossed. But I believe that we are both on the similar path now, we both have a identical cause. If this is agreeable, then I believe that we can both benefit from the plan I have in mind.
We will meet to discuss this in a city of your choosing. We should put our differences aside and come together my old friend. You may find me to the north of Minoc this evening.
Regards,
Drayden Calamyr
After letting the ink dry, Drayden quickly recalled to the bank in Minoc, and left the letter with the banker there for Master D'Ardan. |

He was returning from a brief scouting run through the forests between Minoc and Vesper. Learning the territory better, finding ambush spots, looking at how to use the land against the enemy. As he walked into the city proper of Minoc and approached the bank, the local banker came forth and handed him a letter.
Eldan blinked and looked at the man and nodded slowly, wondering who would be sending him a letter this way. He took the letter and, upon seeing the seal of Calamyr upon it, his eyes narrowed. The bastard drow. I thought I left him for dead. They had not spoken in many years, after Eldan had taken it upon himself to exact justice on one of drow blood.
The Warden had thought the old drow succumbed to death in the ocean, after he had fallen so far.
Breaking the seal, he opened the letter and read it.
He nearly killed Drayden, and now, he was asking for the Warden's help. Or perhaps cooperation?
Returning to the outpost outside of the city, he began penning a letter to Lord Drayden. The drow obviously knew more than he was willing to let on in this brief letter.
Calamyr,
I will meet you in 2 hours at our outpost south of Minoc. It is a small two story brick tower, south of the gypsy camp.
D'Ardan
He ran downstairs and returned to the bank, leaving the response with the banker. |
