Alessandra looked out the window of her home in Dark Cove and her mind drifted as the sound of the waves beat against the shore. She had returned home briefly from Magincia and was surprised to find a man quietly standing guard at her home. She pulled her hood up closer to cover her face as she moved through the shadows, hoping it was not one of Tarothin's men deciding to come and collect the foolish taxes he had decreed upon the land. She quietly muttered a few words and came out of the shadows, releasing a lightning bolt dangerously close to the man's feet and narrowing her eyes asked Who are you and what is your business here? The man's voice stammared as he looked over her petite frame I... I.. was sent here with a letter m'lady. I mean you no harm... With that he thrust a parchment into her hands and made a beeline for the keep next door, looking over his shoulder as though he was expecting her to send another bolt of lightning after him.

Alessandra looked over the parchment and noticing the seal of House Gerhart her eyes brightened and a smile crossed her lips. So... she thought to herself...my knight has returned home, has he? We have much to discuss, and I am sure he has not heard the latest happenings of Dark Cove... She made her way quietly into the house and upstairs to her desk where she lit a lamp and began writing...

Dear Mave,
I trust that this letter finds you well and in good spirits. It warms my heart to know that your travels have led you safely back home. There is much that I wish to speak to you about. While you have been away much has happened, but it is not something to speak of in letter. Things are not always as they seem, and the ways of the land are far different than they were when the Legion of Justice walked the lands. Meet with me as soon as you can, so that I may tell you everything!

Sealing it with a bit of wax and her ever famous purple flower, Alessandra sent the parchment next door and left it with the still stammering and bit skeptical servant with instructions to deliver it immediately to Mave when he returned home.
