Drayden stood quietly in his armory. The bottom floor of the place was quiet, still...like a calm before the storm. The drow stood, fully prepared for a vicious battle. Leather armor was backled in place, a shield hung on his back, and his kryss was tucked neatly beneath his grey robes.

Darkness was coming, or so those in Magicinia believed. This was indeed good timing for him. His interactions with the sect of Humanis in the past had left him aching to fight. I suppose deamon lord will do just as well..though I'd rather have my hands clentched around Isk's throat.
That dark thought caused the drow to blink. It had become harder lately to control his violent urges. His firey temper had gotten him into trouble in the past. And it was no way for one of his Legion to behave.

All things considered, Drayden could not afford to lose the new family he had gained. His thirst for Humanis blood would not be quenched by slaying the deamonic army that was supposedly to march on Magicinia. His mind wandered there in his armory, his eyes staring past the armor and weapons that were displayed here. Where shall fate lead you Drayden Calamyr? He knew that Malo wished to defend the city from destruction...but would the other organizations involved also defend it?

Isk, in all his madness, may get the inkling that he could control these beasts from another world. Many of those who had believed that in the past are gone. Either they were controlled by these fiends...or they died a painful horrid death. That was his experience with their kind, black and white reasoning.

"May the Flame protect me and my friends." Drayden took a knee and murmured a few silent words in an ancient tongue. The door to his armory opened quietly, Drayden did not move from his kneel, nor did he look towards the door. "It took you a while, Starke. Been busy causing disruptions mmm?"

The darkly dressed man stepped into view of the candlelight. A fine wide brimmed hat with a singular white feather adorned the human man's head. His eyes were cold, his stance neutral. 'Thats a mean way of saying it Drayden, come on, how long have we known each other?" Jerrick walked over to a small fruit basket and plucked an apple from it, proceeding to eat it very noisily. "Beshide, yoh knoh, I coud alwash sell mysef to annosher" His spoke as he chewed, causing apple to fly from his mouth.

Drayden shook his head slowly and rose, his sapphire eyes looking to Jerrick, known as Mr. Starke to those who hired him. However, Jerrick did owe Drayden a life debt, hence why the two had not clashed weapons as of yet in this few years they had known one another. "Well, you know what you must do my friend. I believe you got my missive...and payment?"

Mr. Starke grinned widely, tossing the finished apple over his shoulder. "Should I really answer that? Worry not. I will do what you have asked. Just remember what I have to lose, and if I need you...you better damned well come get me out of that pit of insanity."

Drayden merely nodded to him. "We are to go to battle soon, but I will do what I can if you need extraction from your post." The drow mage pulled a black kryss from the wall and handed it to him. "I think this will suit your purposes nicely. Now. Get out of here, before someone sees us."
Jerrick winked at the old drow,"As you wish. We'll be in touch."
Just as quietly as Mr. Starke had come, he then left. Leaving nothing but a half eaten apple behind.
