She was sitting on the roof of a pleasant stone keep, looking out over the quiet bay, the morning sun bathing the scene in it's warm, orange glow. She looked out over the water again as she sipped a glass of wine; It had been left on the small, stone table for her earlier. It tasted like.... Trinsic White....

Looking down her glass and across the table, she smiled warmly at the man in front of her. She had noticed through the corner of of her eye that he had been studying her, almost..... longingly, it seemed.

She had just set her glass down and was about to speak when she heard a voice. Far off at first, but then it became clearer to her.

"Wake up Kayame.... Come girl, it is time to rise"

She looked around, uncertain of her sanity, when it spoke again.

"Kayame.... Wake up..."

She tried to keep the memory, but the scene melted around her. She stirred tiredly from her restful slumber, opening her eyes to see the blue haired man from the previous night's events sitting on a chair beside the bed, studying her sleeping form. From the window, she could tell it was pitch black outside, she guessed around 10 or 11 at night.

She lay on top of a large four-poster bed, the covers had been moved up to her shoulders some time in the night; She could not remember when. As Ultima caught her eye, he started grinning, and snickered occasionally; almost like a child who had done something mischievous. She blinked twice, and instantly reached for her neck.

He had bitten her in her sleep, and she could taste blood in her mouth.... Not her own, either... She realized how much he had taken when she saw the way he acted. He was drunk; The wine in her blood, now inside him. And she felt very weakened.

Grinning, she stroked her fingertips gently back and forth across her sore neck, tracing two small holes, time after time. After about 10 minutes of asking him questions, he finally explained what he had done.

After she had fallen asleep, he had watcehd her for some time. She had been lying there asleep. Beautful, and defenseless.
"I had to make you mine," he said. "You are like a forbidden fruit to me. And I just had to have a taste of you.

She moved up out of the bed, the covers falling free of her naked body. As she looked at her image in the full length mirror of his bedroom, she couldn't see any visible change whatsoever, save for the two small holes, marking her as his own.

He watched as she dressed herself; And spoke to her soothingly about the previous night. Telling her how he'd done it, for she was curious as to how he managed it without waking her. She knew he cared for her in some form or another, and she cared about him; Though it wasn't so plain as that. She always had a strange feeling in the pit of her chest when she was around him, a feeling she wasn't used to.

He told her that he must go do a few things, but to wait there and expect his return, for he would be back in a little while. She nodded acceptably, and he bade her farewell. After he had gone, she looked over the contents of her backpack, and the other small pouches that she usually had concealed on her body.

Everything being in order, she picked up her lantern, covered the right side of her neck with her hair and pulled her hat down just enough to cover her eyes from anyone she may talk to. She set off for the nearest town, staff in hand, wondering what her new change of scenery would bring into her life.
