So ok, been nosing around and I see that Magincia is under attack by demons, and all. But, more interesting, what is the deal with trick or treating in the game? O.o Anything cool come of it, and how does one do it?

Sat "Trick or Treat" to an NPC and they give you candy, a trick and in rare cases a special item.

How excately do you pick a pumpkin? Are they in the fields? where might they be found?

Has anyone been to Magincia? Is it managable or is it certain death? Is it just deomons or other things aswell? Awe hell, I guess I'll just go and find out.

I didn't log on very long, but I did find a pumpkin spawning point. It was in one of the wheat fields near Skara, and it was just a matter of picking the pumpkin up. Once that's done, it changes its name and becomes personalized to the character.

There's also a small chance when you place a pumpkin you picked in your backpack, it will turn black, so keep picking up those pumpkins if you want a rare one! Wink

Oh, but the best part for "The Cute One", is that alot of ppl she asks candy from lately have been telling her she's Cute. LOL
Yes, Halloween will keep Ditto busy for quite a while to the point that she might not listen even if Tarothin calls. Wink

So far I have milk. I'm so happy I read the boards though, I've been waiting to get a pumpkin from an npc. Now I know better. Hehe. (I missed last year's event)

Isk must be beside himself in more ways than 2 lately with all the non'human visitors lurking around Magincia. lol

Question though, when you "die", your insure gold is returned? I'm getting a rather large collection of my heads.

Yes, when you die, your reimbursed for the gold that was lost through insurance.

Too bad the body parts dont have your name on it as well. I'd so trick or treat on taro in private until I get killed and snag all the parts to use for a plot.

With his great regeneration, if the parts are kept at different ends of the world, he wont be able to regenerate back to normal. hehe...

But anyone else can use that idea seeing that it will probably never come to that. Razz

Well the candy is coming in rainbows now, which was nice but I think they went overboard on soooo many different colors. hehe

After dying 3 more times so far, I have only torsos. No more heads. *pouts*

I got some Murky Milk (black milk), but gave it away to one of the neighbors. He was red, and I have a soft spot for those guys when they are the sweet-type. It was a present, but he made me take a 100k check. lol. His advice to me was to Trick or Treat in the nude. Which is good advice, but ...um...I think I can afford to lose a few clothes.
