Change.

It was something Drayden had come accustomed to. The ability to adapt and overcome was something that nearly every race had to come to terms with over time. This was the state of the realm in the dark elf's eyes. Adapt and overcome...indeed.

His inner passions were getting the better of him, the boiling drow blood, that mixed with his cooler more contemplative surface elven blood. From his observation, it seemed the Drow blood within his body produced more ill effects than good. His drive and passion for stature and power was something that continuously battled with. By contrast, the other part of him yearned for peace and understanding, furtherment of knowledge and the way of the art and most of all....balance.

These were the thoughts that flowed through his mind this dark and cold evening. He had recently joined The Legion of Honor. Fighting along those that he felt shared his own views. This action fortunately would most likely give him more credibility. His time with those of Evermoore was at an end. And he could not afford to be affiliated with those criminals anymore. Doing so would be detrimental to his cause.

It was set forth years ago when the king left his people. He had been reviewing it for some time. Opposite of the Constitution, there was a similar parchment that showed the Mage's thoughts and what could be picked apart and used as....leverage?

Drayden took a moment to step out on the balacony outside, to smoke his pipe and look over the ocean.

It was time...

The time of attempting to mediate situations was over. Things were moving at a considerably faster rate and he was needed. Throughout the entire working of this "revolution" he had failed to consider that his own feelings and beliefs would come into play. But now, he could deny that no longer. He truly wished for change, and for that to happen he would need to assist in this, he knew which nominee would be his choice though.

This, is where it gets fun old man Drayden grinned slightly, letting the smoke float into the salty night air. 500 long years. For a human, that is several lifetimes, thus perhaps Drayden, you should use the wisdom of your lengthy life to help these humans. They are just humans after all.

With that last thought in his mind, Drayden turned and walked back inside, pulling a piece of parchment and knowing exactly who it would go to...
