Isilmea sat at her desk in her room, a smile on her face as she began her journal entry….

It happened! Father’s ship arrived in Port today. He is home as is Grandfather. ‘Except for all the crates the dock master sent to the Palace it is a wonderful day. We also had a dinner with CJ and his people who sought friendship with Asur’Herenion. Vaen and his friend joined us as did Lord Horace, Verdex, and Alexander. All seemed well today expect when father wanted to visit Maginica.

I had gone with him briefly to assure that he had all the runes he needed since he had just arrived home. Dealthagar had meet me there so once father was alright we could travel to Hanse for a much needed glass of wine and to speak on the flowers I had grown for Dealthagar. It seemed that in the innocence of nothing some did seek to try to make it into an International incident. I sometimes agree with my father that some people seem not content unless they act out in some sort of drama.

I also found it sad that once again here we have never done anything harmful to anyone and we, Elves, are judged as if we were like those whom frequent the moongate of Yew under the Felucca moon. This time though it saddens me more then usual as for it was that one of my own kin would seek to judge our actions. As it was all explained and the truth was told the one who would ask such did see that there was nothing wrong. Yet know it is this that will seek to ensure the laws of Maginica the Regency itself? How can they even support such bigotry when they embrace the virtues? The Regent himself was a close friend of Alarin and often visited him late. Alarin, a known murderer of many loyal members and yet the Regent never issued one warrant for his deeds. Instead he took up to learning from such a man who had the blood of those on his hands who would bend a knee to him in honor. Sometimes this world makes no sense to me.

I know there is good in the Regency and I even believe there is good in all yet the shades that it comes in sometimes I think is more then one can be expected to accept. Father was outraged when I told him about this. The one thing that I think got to me was when I was informed that this is the new Regency was not the old, like the old was a bad thing. Why do they wish to forget their history, one whom gave birth to some of the finest human Leaders these lands will ever see. It was as if all the past Regents works were voided out and only what this Regency passes into laws is accepted. How they forget that the laws were the laws of the people and not of just a few who now seek to rewrite what brought Nations into greatness. My hope is that those like Lady LaBelle can spread her kindness to those who tend to loose what it is they serve.

Many hearts are heavy with great burdens and in this some will forget who they are. They will turn their backs on their own feelings and morals and in the end when they find that they were being used I wonder what actions they will seek to try to right the wrongs they have done. I pray it will not be too late for them and that they will wake up to see before it is too late. I light a candle in the chapel for Legerion. He needs the help of Eru and I hope it is not too late for him that once the help is offered to him that he will not be so blinded to not see it.


With all that aside, the Kingdom is growing and it is a joyous day with father home again and this week is Sheelala. Spring is anew and all shall be well.

Eru bring peace unto the hearts whom seek you and those whom wish us harm forgive them...
