Citizens of the Realm, I send this letter in great sadness. I have learned this day of an attack upon my hometown of Yew. I visited the new Community Center in Skara Brae, when I met with Gem. She passed along the news of this attack. It seems many liches, lich lords and other demons have preyed upon our monks who live in peace under the felucca moon. It seems many arrived from throughout our lands to fend off the evil, but alas, it was too late. Our friends, the monks have naught been seen. Please pass along this warning. I have come to hear rumors that there are more demons plotting similar attacks throughout our realms and it seems naught any are safe. Please citizens take care in your travels and may the Fates watch over you.

Grig'nag walked idley along the human road toward the human city of Yew. Despite the normal chitter and chatter of creatures he wanted to klump, things seemed oddly out of place. Nothing more so then the ruins of the detties. Normally filled with roaming undead, only a few mindless corpsemen stumbled around aimlessly. Grig continued to wander about in search of quarry more worthy of his time, finally coming across a lich. Drawing his blade he fell into his battle stance, ready to send another abomination back into whatever coffin it had climbed out of.

But to his suprise the lich gave him only passing interest as it continued its quick march Northwards towards Yew and the graveyards. Sliding his sword back into its sheathe Grig pondered the liches actions. Or lack thereof. He finally shrugged it off as he turned and made ready to return to the Stronghold.

"Muur fun fur da pugs in hummie Twee Shak plaze," Grig stated aloud to no one in particular as he glaced momentarily down the road towards Yew, before turning and making way back to Grishnakopoliz.
