The shadow is afixed with his strength...

Cutting the ear from Nephi's corpse he temporarily gains all of his knowledge only to lose it all in 10 minutes..... Nevertheless.... Knowledge is power. Sucking the very life from the blood before his friend Holy Moses galops up to see what was wronged...
