After some days and hearing rumors of nominations being sent out to various personalities in the realms to act as a new Regent, and having no proof of change in his Majesty's attitude, Thrax penned a letter and set his official seal to it, sending it on to King Sid:

"Your Majesty,

It is with reluctance that I regretfully and officially inform you that I do hereby renounce my fealty to you. I am not one to hastily nor habitually break my word, but circumstances compel me. I do not take this lightly nor with any degree of relish---it is forced upon me by recent events which you have willingly instigated. You already know whereof I speak.

My justification for this is as follows:

1. You have undertaken to undermine and overthrow the lawfully constituted governmental assembly, the Regency, of which I am both a Loyalist and an acting official, to establish another of your making for which you have no reason to do except that you desire to topple the sitting Regent, Lord Porthos.

2. You have disregarded all warnings proffered in hope that you will terminate the proceedings calculated toward those ends.

3. You have placed yourself in the camp of Britannia's most notorious villains who have refused to recognize and abide by constitutional law, but would prefer to assert their own authority in its stead, citing unfounded reasons for so doing.

For these reasons alone I cannot continue to maintain my allegiance and subservience to you. To do so would not only violate my conscience, but would invariably force me into the impossible predicament of trying to serve to masters at variance with one another. I must choose only one, and it shall be the Regency and the Regent, Lord Porthos.

It is my fervent hope that you will elect to end your vendetta against the Regency, but, if not, please consider the potential consequence of your lawless actions. You, as King of Yew, will have set a precedent whereby rightful and lawful authority may be abolished by the whims of the powerful and that one day, by that same process, your reign may be overthrown.

In closing, I declare that I shall retain my title and barony as it has been conferred also upon me by the Regency and therefore requires no futher or supportive validation.

*messenger arrives with a Letter*
after reading the letter he looks to the direction of Thraxstadt and shouts"you fool you didn't have to do anything" thens goes back inside and begins to pen a letter back to Thrax and after a couple lines he decided to grab all letters from Thrax and the title and deeds for his Township and toss's them all in to the fireplace "there ya go its as if you never existed" and with that it was time to visit the Docks and wittness the armada collecting in the harbor.
