There is currently an exploit that allows others to obtain access to your gmail account.

This is primarily accomplished by browsing an exploited site while your gmail account is still logged in.

Until this gets fixed, please remember to click "Log Out" the moment you are done reading your email, and don't visit any webpages while you are logged into your gmail account, make sure to log out before you browse (this includes clicking links within emails while gmail is open).

For those who are worried about their email security, I would also personally recommend a service called Hushmail, it is far more secure than any email host out there. The only caveat is the free accounts need to be logged in every 3 weeks or they go inactive.
