The green creatures lept and danced around her laughing as was their way. Casting the most annoying of spells she waved her hand in frustration. Leave me be you Imps! They chattered at her and she was forced to withdraw The Toymaker, slashing and hacking with the sharp edge of this Kryss. They could cast on her all night, the spells just bounced off like the swatting of flies on Nightshade.
Shade was heading for the Astronomers Tower she had heard there were many books there, and curiousity had led her to want to see them. She even thought to bring one back to Nxyanna who had this firm beleif that her explosions would be greater on days where the allignment of the heavens was optimal. Shade doubted this but, she didnt mind taking a look at the books and surprising her daughter with one. The further she moved thru the maze the more she would glimpse the red skin of a well built daemon, she was tempted to stop and chat but as some of them she knew all to well, and their tempers would only cause an annoyance she moved quickly past them. She had to much of a fondness for them to stop to kill them.
Xandria had always laughed at her friends enamored state when it came to demons, yet it had just been a fancy of Shades. Of course now adays she could hear a growl in her head, from Myrddin, keeping her moving swiftly towards her destination. Not stopping to tarry and chat..
The astronomers tower was exceedingly paladinish bright with flames of goodness all around. It annoyed her greatly and surely enough the books contained there, in her opinion were rubbish, mindless drivel really. Not a single Necromancer had studied the heavens and written of it, and that is what she had hoped to find here. She wasnt sure she wanted Nyxy reading this drivel. Yet she had her heart set on one and decided to bring a book back with her.
Her fingers itched though looking at the neat rows of books, the whole building so orderly and tidy and she finally gave into the urge, knocking the books in rows off the shelves, till they formed a great pile. Nodding firmly she smirked and turned and bumped right into none other than Myrddin. His arms crossed, his face holding a very dry slight grin. Out book shopping? His eyes flickered to the pile behind her and then back to her face. She laughed and shook her head, damn Lycans, he found her everywhere..
She smiled as they left the tower leaving behind the pile of books, the only one of slight interest clutched in her hand. _________________ Something is Wrong, I can still feel Existence... |
