Lend me your ear
Let it be told all about the lands the Regency has been disolved by public opinion. This matter was not easy ,but by a meeting of the general public the current Regency has been weighed and measured and found to be wanting and has been released of its responsiblities.
Nominations for Regent will be accepted at Lord British Castle tuesday and wed from 9 and 11 in the evening after the eastern sun Quote: | where ever you go......there you are |

Ceinwyn looks at the poster and wonders.
Nominations for what? If they dissolved it what are they voting on? A new king? |

Walking past the bank in Nujel'm on her normal rounds of patrol, the gathering at the bank was most unusual. Gracefully she walked up to see what the commotion was about. Reading the announcement she almost keeled over with laughter. The townspeople looked at her with curiosity.
She looked at the crowd, "Thy Lord Regent is still Lord Porthos. It would seem one too many a bacon wrapped brick has hit this King upon his head."
The townspeople roared with laughter and proceeded to tear the poster down and toss it to the sea. _________________ "There is in every true woman's heart a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity; but which kindles up, and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity." -Washington Irving-

Upon hearing a knock on their door, Mallory slowly made her way to the door where she found a young man standing holding a package and a parchment. She smiled softly and the young man started speaking... "Lady Ventrue? The tailor at the Moonglow shop sent me with your dresses you ordered. He said you were interested in the other notice that was posted in the shop, so he sent you this one as well... I don't really understand it, because it says the people decided that the Regency should be dissolved... but I was there Lady Ventrue... and I don't remember anyone agreeing that that was what was going to happen... did I miss something??" Mallory shook her head ever so-slightly as she let her eyes quickly scan the notice. She looked up at the gentleman with a slightly sad smile and shakes her head... worry not... the regency can not be dissolved except by the Regent himself. Sometimes people have thoughts of power that make it so they do not hear what is really being said... Rather they hear only what they want to hear." She gave the young man a few gold coins and made her way into the house to show her husband the ridiculous notice... _________________ Good friends are like stars. Jack picked up a half empty bottle of ale, under it a small flyer about voteing for a new reg and lending ears to the public, Jack looked at it then managed to put it together in his head. "Govermental types...hope they like to drink." Then he went back to wipeing down his new counter. _________________

Riding through Papua, Baron Thrax noticed a piece of paper that looked very much like a flier lying in the mud beside the road. He dismounted and picked it up. More concerned with it being litter than its actual message, he nevertheless read it after wiping away the mud stains.
He spoke out loud. "Let it be told?? Dissolved by public opinion?? Well, that was easy enough," he laughed. "I suppose whoever wrote it now claims ownership of Castle British too! I must find out whose idea this is," he said to himself. He folded the flier up, placing it in a pocket, and resumed his ride. |

Nominations are complete at an earlier pace than was thought. The appeal across the lands was amazing and built up in such a way the the public decided quickly and made thier nominations promptly. The process will continue in the same pace and will be judged by the public as to who they will feel is best suited to represent them in all thier needs.
