Ciara scrounged around in Korith’s drawer, looking for a shirt. Hers were getting quite tight and very uncomfortable. She threw out one shirt after another, becoming exasperated, not finding a single one suitable. His clothes were too tight like hers were, just also too long. Sighing, she sneaked into her parents room. Ilharn never wore shirts, she knew, but her mom definitely did.

She began scrimmaging, finally finding what she wanted, a tunic of her moms. Looking around to make sure no one was looking, she took off her own top, then tried it on. *Definitely loose enough,* she thought, then removed it, putting her old uniform back on. Now to take the tunic to the tailors to have a new uniform made in this size. With simple words, she recalled to Umbra. Slowly, she walked to the tailor shop, the tunic tucked under her arm. Spying the head tailor, she tapped the woman’s shoulder.

“Excuse me,” Ciara said authoritatively, holding up her mother‘s tunic. “I need a uniform shirt this size, and a skirt that flares… a lot.”

The tailor looked down in amusement, seeing the tight clothes. “Why don’t you have your mother help you? That tunic looks like it is much too large for you.”

“I want it large. I can pay for it, or you can charge it to Ilharn, Warlord X’eros De’Vir. It matters not to me.”

“You need more than a new uniform, Miss De’Vir. You need.” The tailor looked down at Ciara’s chest. “Support.” Ciara grumbled, her cheeks getting warm. She snatched the tunic out of the tailor’s hand, and stomped out of the store.

Once outside, she opened her book again, and muttered the words, appearing before her home. She walked into the house, sat down in the chair in the kitchen, and waited. After a while, Doireann walked through the door, katana at ready, her tunic bloody. Seeing her daughter, she sheathed her sword, and smiled warmly. “What are you doing, sitting here all alone?”

Ciara felt her cheeks get warm again. “Waiting for you.”

Doireann stood, waiting patiently. Ciara continued. “Well Mom, I went to the tailor to enlarge my uniform, and she wouldn’t do so to my specifications. She said I had to speak to you.”

Doireann looked down at Ciara’s clothes on her, her eyes widening. “When did that happen?” she exclaimed, her eyes wide. Ciara felt her cheeks get even warmer.

“Mo-om!”

“Sorry love, but wow, you are as large as I was before I had you and your brother. They grew when I was pregnant, of course.”

Ciara really didn’t want to hear this. “Mother!”

“Huh, oh, right. Tailor.” Doireann looked her over. “Actually you seem curvier than I ever was.” Doireann saw the look her daughter gave her, grumpy and embarrassed at the same time, just like her father. She grinned, reaching up to feel Ciara’s very warm cheeks. “Well come on, my blushing, curvy girl.” Doireann’s grin turned mischievous as she walked out of the house. Ciara followed, hoping desperately a murderer would come by and chop off her head. Anything to prevent the embarrassment of clothes shopping with her mother.

Korith went to his drawer to put on his uniform. He noticed someone had been in his drawer. "Could it be mother?" He thought to himself. He was not hiding anything, nor would she have any reason to search his drawers. "It must have been Ciara", he thought.

He noticed with the changes in her body that her clothing did not quite fit her. "But it did not give any reason for her to go through my things!!!" He thought to himself as he kicked his dresser.

Suddenly his father came up hearing the noise. "What is going on up here??? You know better than to make noise when i am in reverie!!"

Korith suddenly went still with startlement. "Sorry Ilharn, Ciara was in my drawer. She should have asked." He then turned around to face his father. His father still looked aggravated, but not as intense as before.

"Ilharn, why does Ciara look so different? Her.. well.. she has more curves than mother. Why is this? You do not have curves..... " he stopped short as his father slaped his own forhead, shaking his head slowly.

"You had to go and ask me that, did you dalharuk? How aggravating. If you insist on knowing, she gets it from her aunt Faith."

Korith's eyes widened with curiousity, "My Aunt?? Where is my Aunt? Can I see her??" As Korith became excited and curious, his father could not take anymore and backhanded him, sending him reeling to the floor.

"Enough!!! No you cannot see her!! What did I tell you before??? She did unforgivable things to your Ilharn!! I will not let her get her hands on you!! Now get up and act like a warrior!! Stop being pathetic!!"

Korith got up, rubbing his face shaken alittle as he said, "I am sorry father, i am just curious. A drow named Kay, along with Zeth Melgair mentioned her in the tavern. I wanted to know more...."

X'eros made like he was going to hit him again, but then stopped, Korith's eyes shutting waiting for another blow. "He is getting older and becoming a different kind of annoying. This must be his......" his face grimaced...."adolescent stage... "

He then realized Korith himself had changed, no longer with the childlike face, nor underdeveloped body. Although he seemed to have a ways to go, he had already developed more of a lythe body shape. His muscles were developing, but would not reach the more broad size of his father. His hair took on a darker red, still the same texture as his mother's, as well as the shape of his eyes. X'eros, for the first time, seemed even proud to have created a handsome male child.

Korith opened his eyes noticing his father's facial expression and calmed down. He did not know why his father took on this new behavior. "anything is better than being struck again.." he thought to himself.

"Dalharuk, I know you are going through changes and are curious about things, but your Aunt should not be one of them..... just seek those your own age. And what else did they tell you in the tavern?"

"Well.." said Korith, "they told me to be more polite in front of females, and not talk so much about.. well.. what i learned in class... And Zeth was particularly mad about it, because I... I..."

"Out with it Dalharuk..." X'eros said as his patience was starting to thin again..."

"I kissed his daughter Zari......" Korith said slowly..."on the lips..."

His father seemed rather surprised at his response.. at this he merely said, "Dalharuk, you can kiss females, but promise me it will not take away from your training, our matricah hates seeing her warriors distracted.."

"I promise Father"... Korith said, his face looking down.

X'eros then strode from the room, somewhat awkward from this father son talk. He was not used to this. "At least it is better then the crying and whining brats they were.."

And one thing on his mind, the X'eros suddenly realized, and immediately dreaded, worse than anything in the world. He better not be called grandfather.
