Doireann took out an old parchment, and scribbled quickly.

To Merci.

I just saw my daughters back. Meet me as soon as possible.

Doireann

She grabbed one of the pigeons she still had from Moonglow, dyed all blue, and sent it to Merci, and sat back in anger, drumming her fingers in anger.

What's this? A bird the color of Moonglow Blue?

She released a paralyze spell and the bird dropped down from the sky and into her hands.

Oh and look, a cannister on it's leg... I wonder what it says...

She opened the container and unrolled the slip of paper.

Interesting. Well, I hope they don't mind a tag-along...

She rolled the paper up tightly and tucked it back into the cannister. That done, she let the bird go to continue on it's way to Merci's dwelling. She walked in the same direction, intent on going along.

The bird almost limped in, its one wing looked a bit frozen up she stared at it. Today had not been a good day for the Matriarch her mood was sour. Leaning back in the chair she lazily pointed her sword at the bird and whispered Die!The bird froze completely fallen over as a icy freeze flew from the tip of her sword.

She had been busy, messages everywhere, all manner of beasts invading Kel's home. It was a busy time of year. She already knew looking at the damn bird that Dory would be upset, but her child was Umbran. She would have to get used to the differences between Umbra and her former city, Moonglow.

It seemed not only Doirrean but Beowulf himself had this lesson to learn.

She penned a letter briefly in reply, handing it to a summoned wisp.

Dory,
You saw the mark, hmm thought the healer had taken care of that? They must be getting worse at their craft. No mind, a lesson had to be taught. If you would like to discuss the incident I will see you and Xeros this eve at 9:30 under the eastern sun. If this is not good drop me a *smirk* pigeon.

Merci

She heard a rustling and looked up, her first real smile appearing on her face for what seemed an eternity. Ceinwyn, Staying for dinner? Smiling she removed her gorget. Have you eaten?
