I hope this letter finds you well. we have spoken harshly to each other in the past and I believe I acted with more than my usual zest. As such, Merci and I have unanimously agreed to rescind the banishment we placed upon you and those of your family. You are free to travel normally in Umbra, should you decide to do so.

In addition, we entertain notions of hopefully establishing trade with the government and fine city of Papua, though any hesitation on your side is completely understood.

Poppy came into the bedroom as Ishtar was nursing the children, my lady a letter came for you. Ishtar motioned her forward and had her take the children to read it. When she saw who it was from, she looked at Poppy, "Is this right?" She had to read it a few more times to be sure. She asked Poppy to get her papyrus and a quill and wrote back:


Lady Ceinwyn,

I was rather surprised to receive your correspondence. It is good to hear you will retract that ridiculous order. I would entertain trade, but would like to hear what you have to offer. I will expect the letter. As for a trade agreement if you wish to meet, I will do so on neutral territory. If you are indeed serious with your intentions.
