The day had been long and arduous. She had been fighting a craving for hours, until she could consider herself released from duty and take just a small break to have some of that delicious cheesecake. Seated at her favorite seat, in her favorite inn, in her favorite Trammel city, Papua. The first bite of that cheesecake, that ethereal tasting cheesecake, that Papuan cheesecake lingered in her memory still...


Ceinwyn snapped out of her reverie as Merci strode into the room. Gazing up at the other matriarch, the cheesecake still on her mind from that time so long ago, she came to a snap decision. Sitting up in her chair, she decided just to be brutally honest with Merci. No dodging issues, no discretion. Looking at Merci, she spoke flatly.

"We must lift the ban on Ishtar."

When Merci just looked at her without saying anything, Ceinwyn continued.

"We must do this as an act of good will."

This time Merci responded.

"Why must we do her an act of good anything?"

"Merci, how else can I begin having Papuan cheesecake imported again?"

Ceinwyn's look of utter helplessness only made Merci toss her head back laughing.
