[Bailos]

The sun was shining down on Dagger Isle, but as usual it was bitterly cold. In the northern wastes, Darrien and Bailos stood a few feet apart having finished their survey. A fruitless mission left them with nothing to add to their collection after many hours work. They had scoured the ruins many times before and their rate of success had been shrinking continually.

Bailos looked to Darrien, they nodded to each other and shared their intent without speaking. With one swift motion, Darrien channeled a rich, purple energy the welled up from his feet, surrounded and then enveloped him before he disappeared on his way to the next site.

Bailos turned away and walked towards the shoreline. With his thoughts he assumed a physical form and the sound of his bare feet crunching on the snow filled the otherwise still, cold air. After reaching the rocks, on which the waves were breaking violently as usual, he lowered himself down and stepped into the water. Pausing for a moment, he turned south then began to walk deeper into the water in the direction of Moonglow. The time had come to collect on old debts.
