Nyxy came trotting in her body slowly transforming back into a young girl and sat down at her desk swinging her legs. Pulling a peice of paper in front of her, and dipping her quill in the ink she wrote a letter to her grandfather:
Dearest Grandfather Mairsil,
Next time you go to your meetings, can I go to? I would like to watch you train others and see how you fight. I have never seen a mage that explodes things like you and I am much interested in seeing the tac-tics, *pauses not sure thats how it is spelt* behind it. Please send me word grandfather, i miss you so much!
Nyxy
Rolling it up she patted Mimus on the head. Will you take this to Grandfather for me? The bird cawed loudly snapping it up and soared out the window. _________________ Something is Wrong, I can still feel Existence... |

Mairsil smiled as he read through the letter a second time. It was astonishing that one of his son's children could possibly have turned out a mage, not to mention one so interested in his practices. Finding a quil and parchment, Mairsil wrote a response to his grand daughter.
Dearest Nyxy,
I would be more than willing to bring you with me to witness just such things, so long as your parents have granted you permission. I have many questions for you myself young witch, and I am more than curious as to the progress of your abilities. But rather than list out all the things that I might ask you here, I'd much prefer to see you in person. Expect a visit from me any day this week, and be ready to do some practicing.
See you soon,
-Mairsil
It was almost uncharacteristic for Mairsil to speak in such ways, but his granddaughter gave him a sense of family that he had not had in a long long time. He would help to teach her well, and when she was old enough to understand, he would explain to her why the path of chaos was the most natural in life, and how the virtues and the leaders who enforced them corrupt. _________________ "You see I can not be forsaken, because I'm not the only one.
