Ary rushed in her strides purposeful, she was late and chastised herself as she hurried into Armunn keep. Coming up short she was relieved to see she was not the only late one as none of her division was there.
Humbly Ary apologized for her tardiness prepared for whatever consequences. It would do little good to explain that her meal had decided to be difficult. She wiped a bit of blood splatter off her wrist, hiding it in the darkness of her skirt as she sat primly on a bench smoothing her dress out. Her long black hair tumbled in masses of curls down her back, her golden brown eyes staring keenly forward.
A fellow guildmate received promotion and she clapped, her thoughts swirling about what a handsome fellow he was. The dark beauty of their order was quite entrancing to her. She tried to shake her thoughts back to business when Shadow Skull entered the room his belligerant and rude appearance making her at first want to groan and then she struggled not to give him a smug smile. Late as he was…
Her was an enigma for her, her captain was more than he appeared or perhaps less it wasn’t clear. Something bothered her, something was not right and as a vampire her senses were telling her that she was missing something. Later as he sat closer to her she began to realize it was all locked up in the scent, neither elf nor human she could detect a rare scent, his blood was unusual and she began to draw in great amounts of air testing it with her senses deciphering and picking it apart.Yet to no avail, whatever he was she had not encountered yet and she was growing more frustrated by the moment.
She wanted them to feel warmth ease, a sense of comfort and the room they were in warmed a bit their feelings of mistrust letting down just a bit as Ary weaved her spell around them. He spoke to the newest member of their division about making herself anew, changing her disguise becoming someone else. He spoke with knowledge, a wealth of it and Ary began to grasp narrowing her eyes. She took in Shadow Skull from head to toe, wondering was he really that height, was he really that body type, her mind reeling with the knowledge that he was not what he appeared and she was confounded. This was a trick she expected from a kindred clan perhaps the Tzimisce but Shadow was not kindred.
She must know more somehow, it was time to practice her art, it was time for a portrait of Shadow. |
