Audrina had been spending most of her time lately staying in her home. Occasionally she would take the children out for lessons or hunts, but with the twins still being young she preferred to have them learn during trainings with the other children or inside of the house.

Tay was easy to look after now that he was nearly eight. The twins were a different story. They were constantly darting every which way around the house, playing with Tay or fighting with one another. Audrina tried to stop any playing from happening within her house, but Beowulf would not allow it. ”If you are going to force them to speed through their childhood, then you should at least let them have one” Beowulf always said.

Tay has now been completely removed from the growth serum, but still taking the shot needed to increase resistance. Julana and Atira just reached the age of four, physically, with much help from both shots necessary for aging.

It was very obvious from the beginning who Audrina favored and who Beowulf favored. Audrina was very fond of Atira, spending most of her time with her and giving her most of the attention. Beowulf on the other hand favored Julana. Tay, however, spent most of his time with their live in nanny, Phae. Beowulf disliked the boy very much, not finding humor in the way he played with the girls. Audrina was impartial. She knew it was necessary to raise him well and she saw the benefits of keeping him alive and well, but she also knew, now more than ever, that he is not her son. She needed to focus on her true bloodline.

With Beowulf staying most of his nights in Umbra, it was nearly impossible for him and Audrina not to run into one another. They only spoke with each other on subjects concerning the children and other than that it was only a quick glance or a brush up against the other once in a while. That is how Audrina liked it and she was almost positive it was how Beowulf wanted things to be as well. Limited conversation meant limited fights which in turn meant more focus on training and raising the children.
