Haydn stared at her mother's weapon collection. She loved all of them, and so was having trouble trying to pick a new one to play with. The wavy-looking sword was so amazing, with it's curved edges.

Wait, not a sword, a kryss. I keep forgetting.

But the sleek rounded edge of the harvestor held her captivated, as well. She swung her spiky mace back and forth, frozen in indecision.

If I take too long, the others will be long gone by the time I get there...

As the hour passed, she tested each and every weapon in the room, still unable to pick which one she wanted to use. In frustration, she finally yanked the closest weapon to her, a small dagger that held a greenish sheen to it.

I can't wait to show it to the blue haired boy!

She ran out of the house and along the path to the city. Looking around, she noticed most of the stores had closed for the evening. The streets were empty. She was too late to play. She lifted the dagger in her hands and gazed at it in contemplation.

Well, at least I'm ready for tomorrow!
