After Spawn was released from the prison of Sanctus, Spawn who was still under the control of the god known as Oggaroth decided to find some entertainment. Lurking in the forests outside Yew, he glanced towards some paladins walking to town on the road. He smirked as he raised his hand towards paladin at the head of the group.

"Corp Por!" Spawn chanted launching a bolt of energy toward the paladin.

"Watch out!" screamed a paladin as a bolt of energy slammed into him. The other paladins drew their swords ready to defend themselves searching for the attacker. The paladin who was hit by Spawn's energy bolt fell to the ground motionless. Spawn then appeared from out of the forest walking towards the paladins.

"He killed Grayson! Attack!" commanded one of the paladins. The group then began to charge at Spawn with their swords drawn. Spawn removed his bokuto from it's sheath as he laughed.

"Good! Come at me! Maybe you shall be a challenge for me" said Spawn as he continued to walk towards the attacking paladins. He then raised his free hand in front of him preparing to cast a spell. "Flam Kal Des Ylem!" he chanted sending a swarm of meteors down on the paladins. The paladins were throw into the air by the blasts caused by the meteors. Spawn laughed hysterically as the paladins crashed onto the ground killing all by one instantly. The remaining paladin stood up and looked at around at his dead comrades.

"You killed them! You murderer! Die!" the paladin shouted picking up his sword. Spawn smirked glancing at the paladin going to charge at him with his sword.

"Yes! That's it... fight me!" Spawn said as he twirled his bokuto in the air awaiting for his attacker. The paladin attempted to lunge at Spawn with his sword. "Pitiful!" said Spawn as he gracefully moved to his right to avoid the attack. As the paladin stumbled past him, Spawn delievered two quick blows to the paladin's back and knee. The bokuto slammed into the back and leg which caused the paladin to become palayzed. Spawn stood over his now helpless victim with bokuto in hand.

"Go ahead! Kill me!" said the paladin. Spawn began to pace back and forth near the injured paladin.

"You are not worthy to die by my hand" Spawn said as he turned his back on the paladin slowly walking away. "You know... I changed my mind" said Spawn turning around facing the paladin. "Corp Por!" chanted Spawn as a bolt of energy flew from his hand slamming into the paladin killing him upon impact.


"Now the reign continues..." Spawn said to himself walking away from the corpses of the paladins. "I shall go back to Sanctus and make them wish they never put me in their pitiful mortal prison!" He continued down the road laughing like a madman. "First I shall destroy Skyfire's beloved paladins then I rip out his heart and show it to him!" Spawn said as he walked into the forest disappearing into the treeline.
