As if part of the ground, the ominous structure rose up from the center of the peninsula. High atop, Bailos sat on a throne carved from ebony in his new tower. A dark feel encompassed the whole building, and the décor matched. Ancient relics from eras long passed, rare books and parchments and runes decorated every doorway and every table. All alone, in his hall, thoughts came to him. Still planning, still plotting as usual. Standing up with not a word, only a half smirk giving away the fact that an idea had occurred to him. Moving swiftly to a table in the corner, he picked up a book, a couple scrolls, and a handful of odd reagents, and opened a gate for himself.

As the mist of the blue moon-gate faded, the mountains of Ilshenar came in to focus. Moving with a purpose, he made his way to the familiar grounds of the Wisp Temple as the sun set behind the hills. Walking deeper and deeper into the hallowed halls of the Temple, he finally found the sanctuary. Laying the equipment out over the ritualistic table, he moved behind the altar. Focusing his concentration, he closed his eyes and began soft chants. After he was prepared, he picked up a dagger from the altar and cut himself on the back of his hand. With a grin across his face, he dropped the dagger on the ground and used dipped his fingers in his own blood. Carefully, he began drawing a rune on the wall behind the altar, occasionally referring to a drawing on the altar. Soon enough, it was done.

Stepping back to admire his work, and his loss of blood, he started to chant once more…..Sealing the runic symbol on to the wall with his magic, his work was done, and he promptly left, leaving his book and the reference drawing on the table…….

The book was left open to one of the middle pages….On it was a list of names and place, and scratched off in blood were the names of a few homes of notables….Newly etched off, in blood, was The Wisp Temple……Among the next names on the list were Silent Poet and Mairsil

(ooc: Start of a plot in which Bailos uses a rune to corrupt people and places, if interested in being more of a part then you’ll be forced to be Razz, then let me know via PM or ICQ 62699226)
