Walking though the dark woods of Umbra Alonwynn felt a resistance as she moved forward. A light brightly shone and illuminated the path in front of her. Her friends stood with their arms outstretched towards her, welcoming her. She took one step forward and became ensnared with underbrush. She tripped and fell to the ground. She shivered as the cold wind chilled her. She looked up and saw the light before her dimmed slightly.

I must get to the light before it fades. She thought

Alonwynn Scrambled to her feet, anxious to reach the light. As she stood the branches entangled themselves in her hair and her cloak. Becoming evermore desperate to leave this darkness she ripped her cloak free and yanked her hair out from the branches reach. Leaving several stands behind. Still she advanced.
She was a little more than an arms length away. She reached out to her fellow druids, as they did to her. As soon as her fingertips touched Wisteria’s she felt the ground rumble. Hundreds of undead hands erupted from the ground and grabbed for Alon. Kicking to free herself she once again lost her balance and fell to the ground landing on her stomach. Though winded she still reached, the light was almost completely faded.
The clawing hands kept her rooted to her spot. She could do no more than watch the light fade out entirely leaving her in the darkness.
Alonwynn woke laying on the ground entangled in her bedding screaming. A moment or two passed before she realized that she had been having a nightmare. She panted and wiped the sweat from her brow. She forced herself to calm down and slow her breathing.
She rose from the ground leaving the fallen bedding behind. Alonwynn reached retrieved her cloak and left. A walk would do some good.
Besides with dreams such as these who needs sleep?
