Evoroth sat in his chair in his new room, four days ago he made his exodus from the untamed landsof Illshenar.. the first time in years since hes entered the facets of trammel and felucia. He had gone back to what he used to do best, bounty hunting, seeking out criminals for the local magistrates in Skara Brae and Britain making a living. He had visited where his old arcane tower stood in Yew and it was gone, overgrown and erroded. There was nothing left hardly.
He sat in his chair with a grim face thinking of how much he had done for the royal court in the past.. his sad devotion to protecting Molly and fighting "evil" as they called it. Too much time was invested postponing his personal ventures into discovering a higher power. He had visited heartwood hoping there he would find someone greater to learn from amongst the elves... but it didnt exist. Simply humble beings who didnt use there advantages and knowledge of the arcane over the humans....

He looked down at his pale blue skin and then clenched his fist with anger, then looked ahead to the temporary bookshelf he had in place across the room. Extending his right hand, as if he was commanding it, he pulled a book from the shelf and watched as it floated across the room into his grip. Looking down he flipped through a few pages, hoping hed see something maybe he had missed the first dozens of times he read it. But it didnt exist.. He then closed his eyes and drifted into a deep meditative thought.

What does it mean to be an elf....humility, peace, WEAKNESS. How could they have survived this long..
What does it mean to be human.. follow the virtues? Then why so many criminals in our land.. they are all corrupt and unorganized fools.

What does it mean to be good, a lightsworn, follower of the royal court and protector of malas? To devote oneself to protecting a cause which is not even there own... Who is to determine who is good or bad, right or wrong.

They are all wrong, They all follow, non with the courage to be someone great like Blackthorn or Jou'nar.

There is only one path now...... my path, as it should have been long ago.

With those thoughts racing through his head he quickly broke from his trance.. stood up and made for his armoire where he retrieved his garments. He would go back to heartwood and denounce his loyalty to elfkind, then go and preach a new word.. His Word.

Surely there were those who sought more in life then serving Lords they never met. Surely there were those who would join him in his quest to find more in life and maybe even into death. Where would he even begin to look for an even remotely equal lot of people to him. Where would he go to find a home and a place to share his knowledge and perhaps even learn something from someone..
He had no clue, but as he finished wrapping his face with thick cloth and pulling a hood over his head he knew he wasnt going to rest until he found out.
