(Refer to the thread: Unexpected, Uncontrollable Lust.)

“Will you marry me, love?” he said as he slipped a beautiful ring onto her finger.

She starred down at the ring with glee. What was she so happy about? This disgusts her! No! The potion silenced her thoughts, she loves him.

“Yes, of course!” she said quickly. He held out his hand to her. She wanted nothing more than to raise her hand to his face, but she could only manage to place hers within his.

The roof top of his home was illuminated by hundreds of candles. She found it peculiar, but he insisted it was to set a romantic atmosphere. Ah and romance, sweet glorious romance. That is what the blasted potion had her longing after.

The ceremony had the feel of a normal wedding, but there was definitely something off about it. There were no guests, but then again she was not fond of many. The priest stood across the way at the other end of the garden. She could see him saying something over a goblet, but his words were lost to her. She could only focus on her love.

It was as if she was trapped inside another’s body. Audrina was screaming for this to end. She knew what was going on. Beowulf had tricked her. And what a magnificent show of trickery. He was much smarter than she had thought. How stupid of her to let down her guard.

With each step she took towards the priest she attempted to seize movement, but the potion was not only overriding her thoughts, but her body as well. She loved Beowulf, why would she not wish to marry him?

The priest stepped forward after much mumbling and began to speak.

“It is nearly complete. All that is needed now is a lock of hair from each of you and a sacrifice of your blood.” He said.

Beowulf pulled a dagger from his side and held it up to Audrina. She nodded to him once. She watched him cut a piece of his hair and place it into the cup. Then he pressed the dagger into his palm. She watched as the blood trickled down, thinking of a way she could get out of this. It was her turn. She could see Beowulf cringe as she cut into her hand. The pain to her was soothing, a relief from the situation at hand.

The priest then dipped his thumb into the murky substance. His finger graced her forehead and then moved onto Beowulf. “Repeat after me “ said the priest.

” I, Beowulf, take you, Audrina, to be my partner, loving what I know of you, and trusting what I do not yet know. I eagerly anticipate the chance to grow together, getting to know the (woman) you will become, and falling in love a little more every day. I promise to love and cherish you through whatever life may bring us.”

As he spoke the words she laughed inside. He knows nothing of who I am. I eagerly anticipate the day he finds out. Wait. What he said was sweet. A show of true devotion. She continued fighting with herself unaware of the ceremony.

“Audrina? Audrina?” Beowulf said grasping her face.

“Yes m’love? Oh yes. Repeat after you.” she looked back towards the priest and repeated what he said.

The priest pushed the goblet towards her. ”With a sip from this cup your love will be sealed.” Of course it will. she thought to herself as she tried to restrain from drinking the cup. No, I love him. she thought as she brought the cup to her lips. Beowulf quickly ripped the cup from her hand and took a rather large sip.

The newly married couple embraced in a kiss. Beowulf lifted her off of her feet and carried her to his bed chambers. For a moment she stopped fighting against the potion and indulged in their passion. The marriage was consummated in haste. Beowulf knew that there was not much time left before the potion would wear off. There they were, entangled on the bed, gathering their breaths.

“I love you.” Beowulf said through shortened breaths.

She blinked at him a moment as she tried to fight against saying the three words back. This fight was one she had won. The potion had lifted. Her eyes glared at him with distaste.

“What have you done?”

Beowulf sat with the priest, the two discussed the up coming wedding. The priest continuously making notes, ever so often an odd look would cross his face. This wedding was one of the more "complicated" ones that he had done. Beowulf had gone to the priest and requested a sacred wedding, but he wanted a bond stronger than anyother. During the wedding the priest would preform a ritual, to bind Beowulf and Audrina by heart, head, and magic. The two would never be able to break the vows they made on their wedding day. For if they did, they would both die. The plan was perfect, whether she truly loved him or not, after the wedding they would be together for ever.

Beowulf and Audrina gathered together on his roof top. It was nearly his pride and joy, his gardens, ponds, it was the most beautiful thing he had ever produced. Candles lined the cement walk way, giving a romantic aura. Only three people attended this wedding, The Priest, Beowulf and Audrina. Of course the servants of the Thormear Manor wandered around, they would sign the papers as witness's to the wedding.

The ceremony was going perfectly, everything was falling into place. Beowulf could see the twinkle in Audrina's eye, for the first time he felt truly cherished by this woman. The curse that was placed upon him was at it's peek, but he had grown accustomed to Audrina. He loved her dearly, in an obsessive type of way, but he was no longer lusting after he like a child. Soon however, the potion would ware off and Audrina would return to normal. He tried to stay in the moment, ignoring the consequence's that he would have to pay for betraying his love.

“It is nearly complete. All that is needed now is a lock of hair from each of you and a sacrifice of your blood.” The priest spoke, taking Beowulf out of his trance of thought.

The blade worked carefully through Beowulf's hair, cutting a small portion out, hardly noticeable. Gently he stroked the dagger across his hand, cutting open a slit to allow the blood to drip out. He passed the dagger to Audrina and smiled. Audrina took the dagger and cut into her hand, she looked relaxed, Beowulf however had cringed at the sight of his bleeding love.

I promise to love and cherish you through whatever life may bring us.” He smiled gently towards her, awaiting her words. She seemed lost in her thoughts...

“Audrina? Audrina?” Beowulf said grasping her face.

“Yes m’love? Oh yes. Repeat after you.” she looked back towards the priest and repeated what he said.

The priest pushed the goblet towards her. ”With a sip from this cup your love will be sealed.” Beo's head nodded slightly. "Yes, sealed" he smiled.

Beowulf smiled brightly, the ceremony had ended. He was now bonded with his love until death do them part, literally. He still had no idea of the curse that was placed upon him. Audrina giggled playfully as Beowulf swept her off her feet. Nodding once to the priest, the newly married couple left the roof.

Everything had been rushed, there was literally no time to waste during this whole procedure. Quickly he carried Audrian to his chambers, he threw her onto the bed. The two embraced in a kiss, playfully and romantically. Their body's came together, their love was strengthened, Beowulf was overwhelmed by happiness.

"I love you." Beowulf said through shortened breaths.
Audrina's eyes met his, he smiled towards her gently. She didn't have the same type of expression however. Her eyes grew stern, she looked horribly upset.

"What have you done?" she asked coldly.

After Audrina came to her senses she slapped Beowulf and marched out of his bedroom. Some honeymoon. She wanted to wrap her hands around his neck and watch as he struggled for his last breath, but she couldn't. She needed him. Beowulf, however tricky, was still very valuable to Umbra.

It had been at least a week since she had seen her husband. She was still completely oblivious to the ritual preformed at the wedding. However, she knew it must be a sort of curse. How fitting. She cursed him into loving her and he cursed her into a marriage. But why would he feed her a love potion before the wedding? He could have easily guilted her into it. This curse of a wedding must have been so much more than she had initially thought.

She needed to find out the terms of the curse, but seeking out Beowulf was not an option. She tried to think as if she truly were in love. What would she do? Play hard to get. He must think she was upset and come to console her. This was his problem and he must fix it. However, men like to feel strong and smart, even if that means she must make herself look weak and desperate. Looks are deceiving, right? Perhaps she would conveniently place herself in a location he could easily find her. Maybe a bit of shopping in Moonglow?

She rode off to the moongate in Umbra and found herself in the woods of Moonglow. She felt confident she would find Beowulf. Her search ended as quickly as it began as she hit the entrance nearest the bank.

”Greetings Fong. How are you old friend?” she said as a wide grin crossed her face.

He was not Beowulf, but that mattered not. She could still use him as a source of entertainment.

”Semper Veritas” he said. “What brings you here?”

She slyly removed her left glove and raised her hand to his eyes. A sparkling ring stared back at him. A look of confusion crossed his face, just as she had hoped.

”Has Beowulf not told you? We have wed.” she said as she slipped the glove back over her hand.

She watched as he tried to hide and obvious look of surprise.

”No, he has not.” he said.

”Odd. He was eager to trick me into this marriage. I would think he would shout it to the world when the deed was done.” she said.

”I did not even know you were seeing one another. He has been acting strange lately. He was once obsessed with blackrock, perhaps…” his words trailed off.

“Yes. You probably are right….the blackrock.” she lied.

” You just never know. If I do see him would you have me tell him something for you?” he said back.

“Tell him nothing. she said.

”You really expect that I will do that? he smiled.

Of course not, but I answered your question, No?” she smiled back.

“The light here is blinding. I shall return to Umbra. It was nice to see you, friend” she nodded once and turned to leave. A smirk graced her face.

“Semper Veritas” he said watching her leave.

Audrina paced across the Umbra bridge trying to clean the blood from her leather gloves. Where could he be... she wondered. She had not seen her husband since the day they wed. He still held much value to her and important information as to what he has done. Audrina did not know much about the ceremony performed except that it was no normal wedding. She was cursed, but by what consequences? It was time she provoke Beowulf.

She continued to pace thinking of an idea when a man dressed in peasants garment approached the bridge. He had a very humble look upon him, but when his mouth opened she could tell he was not as he said.

"I am a trader. I have come here to sell artifacts and things." he spoke.

Why would a trader come to Umbra? she laughed. Foolish man. She lifted her sword and told him to head up the road to Sanctus. However, he was not leaving. With a quick glance to the left her eyes lost him and he began to run across the bridge. She quickly followed after him until he was cornered in the stables. She pressed against him until he had no where to go and grabbed for his throat. She tensed her fingers with a smile on her face.

"I...am...warning...you..." he spoke through broken breaths.

She only laughed and pressed harder. Taking life gave her pleasure and why would she rob herself of pleasure? He placed his hands upon her arms and mumbled out a phrase. She quickly felt a shock through her body and stumbled backwards. After the shock wore off she burst into laughter.

"You are no trader." she grinned. She appreciated the fight, it actually amused her. She loved playing games and he was perfect for the part.

"What must I do inorder to have free passage through Umbra?" he asked.

At first she attempted to take what gold he had, but then found that he could be far more valuable. She reached to her pouch pulling a dagger and went towards his face, "I want your lips." He resisted as she pressed on, but eventually he allowed. The dagger graced his lips, but made no incision. I need to get to Beowulf she thought to herself. She moved the dagger to the side of his face and pressed against him much more aggressively. At first he was hesitant, but then he kissed her back. This will certainly grab at Beowulf's insides....I will kill this man so there is no evidence..she ran over the plan in her mind. The dagger dropped to his waist and she began to press. Their lips were still intertwined as he pushed back against the dagger. She swatted his hand and began to press the dagger against his skin. Quickly she was thrown back onto the floor. He hit her with his magic. This time it was not as amusing. He was aggressive, but it was entertaining. Like a toy she was having fun jerking him forward and backward.

"You have free passage in Umbra for today, but do not find me to be so kind tomorrow. Be careful of others for they are not as playful as I" she turned and walked away.

Due to the curse Beowulf would certainly feel her betrayal and he would feel it physically. If he was alive he would become full of rage, just as she had hoped. He will come for her now and she will learn more of their marriage, there is no doubt.

"Beware of the green eyed moster..."She could hear Sywen's voice echoing in her mind.

Beowulf had found her and he was less than pleased. He actually was rather angry. Fierce. He came at her and grasped her throat just as she had grasped many throats before. She did not fight back. He was a wealth of strength. A slight smirk crossed her face for she knew her plan had worked. Though, the smirk began to fade quickly as his grip tightened and she was beginning to lose air.

"What have you done? Why have you done this? You have betrayed me, husband!" she said through grasping breaths.

"I love you and one day you will love me. There is no doubt in my mind, you are mine. You are Audrina Thormear." his eyes glared at her as he gave her throat one last squeeze and then pushed her back, allowing her to catch her breath.

She understood. She knew what she had done. She had awakened a beast. A monster.
She was submissive. She gave him what he pleased. Her throat was bruised by his hands. Her lips tasted of his. She was his and he was hers at least until death parted them. Despite her efforts there was no escaping the situation. There was no escaping Beowulf.

"You know what you have done...You must now join me...there is no other way for us to be." she was well aware of her surroundings. She knew what was happening. She was not fooled by his treachery, rather pleased by his aggression. He would follow her, she was sure, but it would take much convincing, but it shall be done for it be the wish of the Matriarch.

She reached for his face and then slapped him with strength, then leaning forward she kissed him. She did enjoy a good game and that was what Beowulf was for her. No interest of love, but a pawn upon her chess board.

"Again" he said. She looked at him surprised. Intresting she thought. Their distance has weakened the curse in which his ring holds. Her betrayal has made him stronger. She clenched her teeth as she swung at his face again. This time, no kiss followed. He shoved her onto the bed as his eyes glistened with anger.

“This is your home. Thormear mannor. You will stay here.” she had not the energy nor the desire to fight against him. She turned over on the bed and closed her eyes. "I truly hate you" she said at a barely audible tone. "I love you" Beowulf said with a smile as he laid down next to her to sleep.
