I'm bored, and thinking about starting to play again.

Whats happened in the year and a half or so that I have been gone from the rp?

If someone could tell me what the main dark guilds and main light guilds are that would be cool too.

Kidding. But uh... yeah. MTC is le fun. Wink

MTC, Kuran, HRA, those are the ones I primarily talk to, and they have a lot of fun. And 2/3's of those use the vent that you already frequent!

I haven't heard much roleplaywise in regards to the dark guilds lately, and nothing at all about the Damned.

Then again, I am uninformed, so I'll wait for someone in the know to reply instead.

There are usually people in Umbra, they mill around town and the outskirts.

As far as main evil guilds, there are Umbra, The Damned, Zog.

Umbra is based in umbra, of course. It is more like Dark Order. We use some of the anti-virtue beliefs, but are mostly an evil order guild.

The Damned is run by Darrien Church and Beleth and is based on OES lore, for the most part.

Zog is run by Cear Dallben, and is based on Uo lore.

These guilds are allied. We have training events, sometimes seperate and sometimes together.

In all seriousness though, new content like peerlesses is entertaining for a month or two, and it might have been worth coming back for a month or two of content, but remember that I got rid of my accounts. I absolutely refuse to beg people for stuff (powerscrolls, poisonweps / golems, armor, weps, etc), and I would hate taking handouts just because I'm starting all over. So even if I would enjoy the content, which is probably 50/50, there is the massive complication of having to rework characters all over again. Some people like reworking, but to me, it is reworking to obtain a FRACTION of what I used to have. Not to mention I refuse to sink more money into the game than the monthly fee, if I did return, so that rules out buying an account, or buying namechanges if someone gave me a perfect account, even.

And, the final complication lies in the fact that I can't stay away from roleplay, and I think that I simply do not have a place in the current community. I could charge on forwards with a rant, but the point of my post was the above, not another 'state of the community' chat.

you do have a point.

I've been thinking it over and I don't feel like doing all the stuff you listed above either...

So I shall just wait until Darkfall. Maybe I'll see some of you scrubs there.
