Penny just glared through the bars that were the walls of her home. She had been here, for what seemed like an eternity. Her stomache no longer cramped or knotted from hunger. It was true, after a time the body gets use to the pains of hunger. She licked her dry lips, to no avail, as there was not much moisture upon her tongue. Her mind went back to the last time she saw James. He spoke of fighting their champion. Did James truly fight and lost? She had not seen a soul in quite sometime. The lich lord and one of his pets made their last visit a week or so ago. The silence and lack of contact was making her feel insane. She had caught herself speaking to the air. There were times, she had believed the air spoke back. Her stomach had a slight rounded look to it. She knew it was their third child. Her hand slightly caressed it. She wondered if the child was even living. Perhaps that was why she was growing weaker, the child was almost like a leech taking what nutrition she had left within her own body. She slapped herself for thinking such. This was James child...the love of her life..her soulmate. She swallowed hard and coughed as there was not enough saliva to sooth the scratchness of her throat. She slowly raised up from the rock that had been her seat for the eternity she had been in this cell. She moved towards the cell door, stumbling every so often.
"KILL ME ALREADY!"
She yelled out, her delicate fingers wrapped about the bars. A shadow moved about the corner of her cell. She quickly turned and yelled.
"Vas Flam!"
Fire balls shot from her hand at the corner, or so in her mind they were there. In all reality the conclave had taken any means of spells, escape or fight from her. Her mind wasting away to mindless hallucinations allowed the fire balls to be repeated upon that corner. She dropped to her knees scratching at the flooring. They had won. Her spirit laid within a shell of a body twisted from the blackrock exposure and fully depleted of any hope that had lived. All had forgotten her, so her mind and heart were believing. James in her mind had fought that champion and was defeated. All was left was for her to lay and await for death to take her. She only hoped that it would come before her mind was fully lost.
