The labor had been worse than her other two. But Ali proved to hold her own. Eldred, by her side, kept hold of her hand. He tried hard not to show the worry he was feeling inside. The baby was overdue and the stress that Ali had endured during the pregnancy. The midwife was doing her best to reassure the soon to be new father. Her words went into Eldred's ear, but the gaze of his pale wife allowed them to just escape through the other one. The baby had started off breech, but with some work, the midwife was able to reposition the child before it made it's way fully into the birth canal. Approx 20 hours later or was it eternity??? A small cry echoed through the Jonas manor. The midwife presented Eldred his new little bundle.

"It's a girl."

The midwife said with a soft smile. Eldred's worry had went into sheer happiness. He kissed his wife and took his daughter into his arms. The moment he did, it was as if she knew her father. The infant girl stopped crying. Eldred then took her over to Ali whom took hold of her crying of happiness. She let the small girl latch on as she looked to Eldred.

"Well love, what shall we name her?"

Eldred looked puzzled.

"I had some names for a boy, didn't really think of a girl. I figured if it were to be a girl, you would have that name covered."

He said with a wry grin. She giggled and looked upon their daughter.

"Welcome to the world Kaelyn Enya Jonas."

With that said, she bend kissing her forehead. Eldred gazed upon his wife realizing the name was that of the sister she had lost to the orc raids in Yew. Eldred smiled as he kissed his wife and child. He then left to the scribes office. He had many announcements made up and passed them out amongest friends and family throughout Britianna.




He then returned home to spend time with his new daugther. The war raging within the boarders of Sanctus, both parents looked upon their daugther and saw a new light for the realm.
