|
A Story, A man goes to war and kills with the sword for many years. Afterward he turns his sword in at the armory and he believes he is finished with the sword. But no matter what else he might do with his hands, love a woman, build a house, change his sons diaper, his hands will always remeber the sword.
Wandering through this quiet realm walks a soldier. I very bored soldier, these lands host no conflict no bloodshed anymore. The world is very very very quiet. What can this soldier do, he doesn't know. He can fight monsters but their lack of intelligence and skill bores him quickly. These monsters never learn from their mistakes just keep coming at you in the same way time after time. He yearns for the combat against a human, elf, dwarve, drow, undead, or orc. Atleast they learn from their mistakes and adjust their attacks and defenses monsters in these lands do not have that much brain power. The orc is questionable some of the higher orcs atleast have the brain to know to adjust when their strategy is not working. He yearns for the blood and the death and destruction of war. When will it come, who knows until then he will try and find a way to keep himself from insanity. _________________
