Zeth lay on his side in the bed, he watched as dae slipped on her nightshirt and perpared to make ready for the day. He watched her as she sat on the side of the bed brushing the nights tangle out of her blood red hair. He reached over and placed a hand on her bare thigh. "Do you really think shes ok?"
Dae turned to him, "She is a strong willed little girl, she will be just fine." Dae faked a smile of reasurance.
Zeth could tell in her voice that she two was worried about Kasshy. It had been two days since she had left the wolfs den to delievery the books to Sanctus and she had not returned.
Dae leaned over and kissed Zeth. "I am hungry why dont you get dressed and lets go hunting?"
"You go I am going to stay here for a little while, I have some things I need to see about." he said rolling over onto his back and staring up at the ceiling.
Dae got dressed, kissed Zeth once more and headed out of the bed room. Zeth heard the sound of the heavy doors of the wolfs den close. He lay in the bed thinking. why on earth did I send her, I should have delieverd those myself.
Zeth got dressed and headed down stairs to his lab he spent the better part of two hours doing nothing much but trying to act busy. He heard the door open and close. He called out "Dae I am in the lab"
When the door to the lab opened it was not Dae who stood there but kasshy.
"It is done sir." she said in a very tired and week voice.
Zeth took a look at the state she was in her clothes where torn and she was filthy from head to toe, she had burises on her face and neck her arms where cut and scratched. "what.....who.... where.....?"
Kasshy collasped onto the floor. Zeth jumped and ran to her he picked the child up in his arms and made his way with her to her room he placed her on her bed then rushed back down to the lab. He grabbed a two viles one of a yellowish looking liqiud and the second of a dark red liqiud. He took the stairs three at a time and when he reached Kasshy's room he made her drink all of both potions.
she looked up at him " I was affraid they would follow me so I hid and waited for it to get darker. I ran throught the forest but I got lost and couldnt find my way back here." she closed her eyes and zeth watched as her breathing slowed she looked a little better her skin was getting a little darked as the color returned to her face. Zeth turn to leave her side he was going to get water to ckean her wound.
Kasshy grabbed Zeths arm "hes going to try and kill you!"
"who is going to try and kill me?" Zeth ask.
"The blonde womans husband he gave me a message to give to....." but before she could finish she fell back asleep.
Zeth ran up the stairs to the roof, he turned his face into the wind and howled. her knew Dae would hear it and understand.

She had left the wolf's den and headed north. Zeth seemed quite worried about Kasshy. She still didn't know the girl too well but enough to know she was strong willed. Why he worried so, she'd never understand.

She had almost reached her destination, when she heard it.... the howl was long...mournful yet angered it seemed. She turned her head back in the direction she had come. Something was wrong.

Ignoring the pain of hunger in her stomach, she ran back to the wolf's den....
