A hastily scrawled note is derived to the Royal Court of Light.

Duchess Molly,

I write to inform you I am removing the Steel Scorpions of Fire as a member of the Royal Court of Light council effective immediately. I will only say that I have been most disappointed with recent situations and the handling of such matters. I wish you and your council the best in your future endeavors.

She answers the door to find a messenger standing there. He hands her a scroll with the symbol of the Steal Scorpions of Fire. She gives the boy some coins and closes the door.

Well...she says to herself. I have been expecting this. She unrolls the scroll and reads the contents nodding to herself. Power gone to his head...a shame...I had high hopes for him when he became Regent. I hate to see him drag down what was a bright future for the Regency and the community of light at large especially on the cusp of such evil shadows over the lands of light. I just hope someone can get his ego in check before he distroys all he promised to bring back.

She carries the message up to Will and hands it to him. You might want to read this. He nods and takes the scroll looking at her inquisitively. Porthos? he questions and she nods. Too bad...he says after reading the first couple of lines. He could have made a great leader but his ego got in the way. They looked at each other and sighed. I feel bad for those that will have to clean up the wake. He says and sighs again.
