The piece of papyrus on her desk lay before her blank. The recent arraignment and the argument over jurisdiction awaited her to make a decision on how to proceed. Carefully she picked up a quill and began to right and ordinance to go into public record:


As Lady Justicar appointed by the Lord Regent, I am formally withdrawing the charges of aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit murder of Lord Isk for the Regency. He is free to go and shall no longer be under house arrest on Magencia.
I am reserving the right to prosecute in another court of law if it would be so allowed by that jurisdiction/governing body and Lord is apprehended for any other warrants issued in regards to the above charges for his alleged attack on those assembled in the Royal Court of Light meeting.

She called forth a messenger to deliver her legal document to the Regent and make it public knowledge. He took it with a low bow and ran out of the Palace with haste.
