She sits at her desk roughly running her hands through her hair not knowing what to do. The Royal Court aside from a very few has determined that Luna is not worth their effort. The people will be destroyed. she says to herself nearly in tears. She stands and paces the floor, walks to the window and holds the frame, her knuckles white with stress as she looks off into the distance towards Umbra.

They will come for the lightbringers and the innocent as well. There has to be something I can do...Something... she sighs deeply and bites her lower lip as she seems to come to a decision.

She pulls out a few pieces of parchment and her quill. She dips it into the inkwell and begins to write.

The letters are addressed in a firm hand to Mia, Porthos, Spawn, Gailan, Rryn, Ramses, Malo, Talon & James M'Real.

My dear friends,

I have been at a loss as to how to proceed with the lack of support from the membership of the Royal Court in regards to the war brought to our doorstep at the last meeting.

For the sake of the people of Luna I am taking a very large risk and going to Umbra with the intent of sparing the lives of the light and innocent of Malas. I feel I have no choice but to offer my freedom for the freedom and future of Luna. Without the support of those that are able to defend them I must offer myself as that shield.

I do not know what will come of me but I have asked Will to take our daughter and go into hiding for their safety for who knows what evils may befall them while I am in the clutches of darkness. I fear for them as well as I do for my own sanity. I have seen those of darkness turn those of the light while they were under their power and I do not wish my husband and daughter to be in any danger from myself or from those that have power over me.

She begins another parchment addressed to Ceinwyn.

I request a meeting with you as soon as possible. I will await you at the Tavern in the city of Umbra at your earliest convenience.

She calls Shabata and asks him to hand deliver the letters to those they are addressed to and she slips out the door for one last night with her husband and child.
