You should check the new runes on uo.com. They translate to:

The Clock Is Ticking In Moonglow

Perhaps now would be a good time to invest in some sand bags and rations? Wink

Honestly, Moonglow as a council can simply base out of the outskirts/the current political seats. Even if the city itself goes boom or something, there is always the White Castle.

Current arc is set for Moonglow Explosion or something.

MTC could probably try to tie it in with a blackrock experiment, or blame some enemies for blowing Moonglow up with blackrock, or anything. Some good stuff could come from it.

Right I haven't figured out what the reason for the the destruction...It looks speratice....the bank and Chacallors guild is in shambles...carpentry and healer (if I remeber correctly) look damaged....the long house things to the south are damaged is seems....I lost the link for the picture so I can't just cross post it here.

I can translate them by eye now, which I'm sure is a precursor to some form of insanity.

For anyone else who wishes to decipher the Ultima runic alphabet, there is a handy chart located on the Inu Wiki here.

I'd laugh if the dev team ever did something as retarded as blowing up a core city. ;/

You're not alone. I can translate the runes by eye too. = too much time on our hands? At least I still cant speak any elvish or other languages by heart.

It does seem like a rather arbitrary thing to do, but maybe they have a reason. And I think with all the possibilities it opens up for us, it's cool.
