Nightshade walked thru the fallen snow,
her skin pale white her hair a bright green glow.
A noble reindeer she did spy, his nose was red, and he could fly.

She killed him quickly with her sword
and twisted his mind to undead horde.
Raising him from death once more
she opened caskets by the score,
and skeletons rose with awful fright
moaning in the silent night.

On ravager, on soulstalker,
she called out their names,
hundreds of scores of skeleton remains.
Her red nosed guardian at her side,
much better looking now that he had died.
She rode him with her army of fright,
they were truly an awesome scary sight.

The land of the living, the virtuous and true,
didn’t really know what to do.
The skeletons strode thru the brightly lit streets,
leaving skeleton arms and skeleton heads in piles so neat.

What terror had brought such strangeness about,
as the fog settled in and cast a sad doubt.
Without Rudolph the reindeer would Santa fly,
or would children awake for a good Christmas cry.
