"…I am not certain, she has not been through the gardens in days." The usual lighthearted female voice penetrated the door, even when in low tones. The front door of the house closed as softly as the knock she had heard moments prior. LaBelle continued writing, determined to finish the catechism before nights end. The ascension of the new Lord Regent had inspired her to write again. She had harbored many thoughts on the matters of policy and practice, governance, and civic life during the time of her respite.

She compiled outlines for lesson upon lesson over the course of a few days, fearful she may lose the ideas that at the moment were prevalent in her mind. She would finish the first formal lesson this evening. It was to be the simplest of those she intended. Never the less important.

Furling the finished parchments she moved from the writing table and stepped into the living area of the house. The girl tried to conceal her excitement, "Milady…are you well?" She questioned, feigning concern. LaBelle smiled to her, "You know that I am." She replied. "Fetch me a messenger, then return, set with me and tell me of the gardens." The girl smiled affectionately, bounding from the house. The gardens were not LaBelle's passion, they filled time, and gave her a common with the people of Ocllo, thusly she was compelled to hear the girl tell of the pumpkin patches, the squash vines and the carrots she so prized herself with.

Just before darkness the girl returned, beside a handsome young messenger. Rising from her seat, LaBelle gathered the parchments, she placed them into a sturdy leather sack and gave him these instructions, "Go forth to the Mother City, seek the head librarian, tell him you wish his scribe to copy these documents, and that the Lady LaBelle Decantor wishes them into circulation. Repeat this in Vesper, Moonglow, and Trinsic." She paused for a moment, and then continued, "Implore each city's library to share the work with the nearest city." With the last instruction given, she placed a gold and silver filled satchel to the messengers' hand. He bowed his head and departed.

These scrolls slowly circulate, from city upon city until many have seen them; in the hands of laymen, on shelves of libraries, and in the desks of a few nobles can they be found
