The winds blew hard from the island home of the Shrine of honesty, bringing with them a cold white frosting to the grass and tree tops. The snows were falling softly on the streets of Moonglow and the sun had just set. Fong stopped and gazed upwards at the seemingly endless tunnel of the falling powder. He returned his gaze to the road and it was as though hours had passed. The Moons hung high over the town and most of the citizens had left the shops and gone to bed. Fong stumbled a bit as he looked around wondering just how long he had been looking into the sky and why hadn’t he noticed how dark it had become. Marking it up to being overworked he turned and headed back to the White Tower.

As he walked the street lamps seemed to grow darker until he reached the bank where it became absolutely black. “Good Evening Fong”… It was the voice that had plagued those who tampered with the black rock. Fong looked all around hoping, praying for a source of light. Behind him a blast of blue light broke through as a moongate opened. Attempting to jump through it proved useless. It closed seemingly unused. Fong fell to the ground as the darkness seemed to consume him. He heard a familiar laugh from behind him. Turning he saw a ghost, one he had seen before, one he knew. The ghost stood before Fong laughing. “Why?” Fong heard himself say. “It comes for you as it came for me.” The ghost responded. Shaking his head the ghost vanished and light returned to the streets. Fong found himself sitting on the ground next to the bank wall. Picking himself up and dusting off he began to worry about what had just happened. It was time for him to return home for the evening he concluded and recalled away from Moonglow Proper.

Appearing on the South Eastern side of the isle he entered his home. Walking a few short paces his foot hit something. Fong looked down in horror at the lifeless body of his former Minister. Falling to his knees he looked over the body of a man he believed could not ever truly be killed. At this Fong was speechless, silent tears rolled down his face as he looked in horror at the body. Suddenly he was surrounded again by complete darkness. For a second time the blinding blue light appeared. This time Malic M’reel and Talon Skyfire stepped through. Walking to the corpse they picked it up and took it. Fong again scrambled for the moongate, as he stepped through it closed and he found himself in the city of death…umbra. There was no sign that Malic or the King of Sanctus had been here, they certainly would not have gotten that far…Something was wrong.

Fong walked the empty streets seeing a glimpse of a person only every so often. Leaving the city he slowly headed to the home of the dark queen. Entering the building Fong seemingly left his body, watching as it moved, unknowing to him what its actions would be. Cienwyn stood from her throne to greet Fong. Walking next to her with out a word he put his hand and her shoulder and leaned into her ear. “Vas Kal An Mani In Corp Hur Tym” He whispered as he forced her back onto the throne. Stepping back he watched as Cienwyns face twists in horrible pain. Her chest swelled slightly then returned to normal. Turning It left the room leaving Fong standing in front of a now truly lifeless body again he fell to his knees and the darkness begin to consume him. Putting his head in his hands he begin to wonder what had driven him to this, why had he tampered with the blasted rock.

Looking up light had again flooded back in and he found himself standing at the steps of the black guard castle. Talon Skyfire was standing over him, His sword drawn Fong looked up wondering what it would be this time. He could barely hear the voice of Talon but he could tell by his facial expressions that he was shouting to a crowed. He turned to see a large group of sanctans standing and watching Talon. Words of revenge of the death of Joseph came from his mouth. Looking down at Fong Talon raised his sword and brought it down with a swift motion. Fong watched as the light glistened off the blade right before it impacted he awoke with a start. Laying in his bed he looked around the room. The sun had just broken over through the night sky and was shining into the window of Moonglow Manor. A dream….it was all just a dream. Fong laid in his bed for a few more moments catching his breath and gathering himself. He got up and left his room walking into his study, he picked up a large piece of blackrock off of his table and throws it out the window and into the sea. If this was some sort of premonition of things to come Fong wanted nothing to do with it.
