Kali opened her eyes as the first sun began to peek through the windows and groaned a little bit. Trying to not wake Vaen, she quietly slipped out from under his arm and stood up, only to quickly sit back down on the bed as the room began to spin. She whipped her head around only to find Vaen still fast asleep. “I swear that man could sleep through Armageddon itself..” she laughed softly and leaned over to gently kiss him. She stood slowl, turned and quietly exited the room, making sure to quietly close the door. She was already running late, and did not want to explain where she was going. Although she was sure he would go with her, it would be easier for her to gather the information alone. She had promised him she would stay safe... and she would keep the promise. She placed a hand over her stomach and looked down. Afterall... it wasn't only herself she was keeping safe these days. Soon the signs of her ailment would begin to show themselves, and she wanted to make sure that things were taken care of before she brought a new life into the world. She called to her noble steed and closed her eyes and took a deep breath as a sudden wave of nausea came over her. She turned her steed and nudged it forward, towards Umbra…
