The legion quietly faded away. Certain member's left behind, hoping for a revival. While other's simply had their sights set on other tasks. My uniform and badge were safely tucked away. My duties to the Legion as a guild were done. No matter what happens, the members of the Legion are my family, and closer than any other army I will serve with.
With my two apprentices, Jericho and Sylunor, I decided to create something of my own. A group of Eternally Prestigious people. If they are not already respected among Sosaria, they will be.
I extended my hand to the Moonglow Town Council and their army. I trained most of their mages, and gave well learned tips to some of their warriors. Even without my help they grew to become a strong force. With my help, they became even stronger. They were easily cutting through the ranks of the Kingdom of Sanctus. It quickly came apparent to me that I could not possibly help every army in Sosaria. Even if I were, it would create even more conflict than there already was.
I decided it would not be of best interest to certain Cities and Kingdoms if I were to train random army's. It was in my best interest as well to keep in good standards with certain cities and Kingdoms. This ultimated lead to the decision that I wouldn't train large groups of people unless there was an extremely good reason.
Beowulf leaned back from the desk. He had ran out of ink for his quill. He took a deep breath and quickly gathered more ink. The Journal before him seemed tattered and worn.
He leaned back over the book and dipped his quill in ink. Once again, he began writing.
With patience we will create something incredible. We will have some of the most talented mages, energetic and loyal warriors, and some of the most knowledgeable diplomats across Sosaria. We will form in home, a guild hall located where I have many memory's. I will rekindle a tired and haunted town, and I will create an incredible group of people. |
