I challenge each and every one of you:

For one week, when you log into UO, you will close down every messenger you have. Ventrilo, ICQ, AIM, MSN, IRC, Skype, Yahoo, everything. While the game is running and you are roleplaying, you will have no OOC contact with the other players of this game.

This includes party chat, guild chat, alliance chat, and OOC brackets. Don't accept party, disable guild chat and alliance chat in your options menu.

One week. Post if you are going to do it, post when you have done it. I am thoroughly intrigued by this concept and want to see who does it.

It's impossible. I tried it last Summer. I ended up living in someone else's house in a land claimed by an active guild for a week, idling in it ;(

Well.... that's how I rp already. i'm usually not in a guild, people rarely party me unless it's important... and look at me, I rp cause I like to, not because I like the people i'm rping with (no offense, of course, I don't hate anyone, except for spawn Razz

I have long said, that outside communication has caused more harm than good for this rp community.

I tried to do that as much as possible simply to avoid the OOC problems that were between the roleplayers of this community. It helped, but it also sort of left me out of the mix. Suffice to say, apparently your only a roleplayer if you pick a side. Confused

Personally, I don't understand it. I've never, NEVER, had ooc problems in m time playing. There have been minor bickers, but never complete problems. I've always gotten along, and I simply don't understand how some people can hae somany problems.

NWN2 is out.

Playing it is free, other then the buying of the game. Hense the appeal of it for many.
