Dearest Lady Molly,

Well, Well it has been ages since we spoke last has it not? Last we met if my memory serves correctly you and your ilk marched into my Umbra and scaled Charnel Hill in an attempt to shatter the power of the once magnificent relic that was the Ebon Skull severely weakening The Lich Lord, myself and a few other less-then living co-patriots of mine who at the time depended almost totally on the Skull for sustaining energy.
I was I must admit filled with joy to hear almost instantly that your condition was improving, I would have gone to assist you myself of course but given the nature of my reputation and status I must be careful of where and by whom I'm seen you understand. As a symbol of my appreciation and constant gratitude for all that you have done, as well as an offering to celebrate your return to health please accept the gift which accompanies this letter. I look foward to seeing you and your new child in particular sooner than later my Lady.

In Oblivion's grip I remain,
Lord Necromancer Darrien Church
Priest of Oblivion
Keeper of the Sacred Dogma
Guardian of Corruption

P.S. I think it would look good in the child's room don't you agree? I don't know it may be a bit overdone, I was always a tad over the top.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A rather large portrait accompanies the letter in a dark ebon-wood frame depicting a Lich garbed in the traditional robes of the High Priest of Oblivion sacrificing a great multitude of women and children in a bloody fashion. A walled city looking suspiciously like Luna stands in the back drop a smoldering ruin under-siege by a horde of undead shock-troops

Arriving back to the Guild house from their summer home after a brief but joyous reuniting of her family after the curse was lifted from her she was greeted at the door by one of the guards. He greeted them with welcome and said a messenger had been by earlier that afternoon. He pointed to the package and handed her the letter and she nodded. She gave him instructions for the rest of the day and said she would be in personal quarters should she be needed. Will smiled and carried Almael to the teleporter ahead of her and she followed with the package and the letter in hand.

After Will had put the sleeping child to bed he came to join her in the garden. Molly smiled at him and commented, And you were worried about being a good father. She chuckled as he grinned at her. Come and sit love while I see what this present is. You can read the letter aloud as I open it. He nodded and broke opened the seal on the letter as she began to undo the bindings on the bulky package.

As she tore away the paper she gasped at the painting her stomach churning. She swallowed back the bile that rose in her throat and listened wide-eyed to the words Will was reading.

Will finished reading it and looked up patting her knee. He called to the guard and told him to double the watch and inform Lord Shihan of the situation. The Guard saluted and headed off to find his commander to let him know the new orders.

She said Seems evil never sleeps, even those who have fallen come back to haunt. She frowns deeply as Will nods in agreement.

* A letter arrives by messenger to Mr. Church*

Sir,
Thank you for your recent letter to my Lady Molly. She was rather surprised to hear from you after such a long time. Both of us would be pleased and welcome you with open arms should you decide to grace us with your presence when you do return. I already have a room set up for you should you do decide to visit us worthy of your stature. Thou I'm sorry to say that hired help isn’t what it used to be that will see to any needs you might have while you stay with us. They tend to get a bit over zealous with there duties at times. I'm sure they'll make your stay as restful as possible.
*signed* Duke Will Kaldhel, Sheriff of RCL and Greater Luna

P.S. I'm sorry to have to inform you that there was a small incident at the Hall recently and
your painting was burned to a crisp before we could retrieve it from the lava pits in llshenar.

Darrien read the letter through twice and chuckled.

“Duke Kaldhel…clearly the good Lord does not know whom he addresses. Once an offer is extended, we cannot refuse...”

My Lord Duke Kaldhel,

You offer is greatly appreciated and I assure you Luna's trumpets will herald my approach sooner then you think. An invitation has been extended, it would be rude of us to deny you the honor of entertaining a Lord Necromancer. Look to the south!

Keeper of the Sacred Dogma
Guardian of Corruption
