Handing the flyer to the messenger she smiled softly,"take them to a scribe and have copies made then post them throughout Makato...make sure one is sent to the Empress...,"she said as the messenger nodded and went to do as he was told.

"What about Lord Ashi m'lady...?."Reyna asked as she handed her mistress a cup of tea,"perhaps we can have their help as well Reyna..at least I pray we can...,"she said as Reyna excused herself and left the room,leaving Annawen to her own thoughts.

Takeda walking around notices a poster. He looks at reads it. Looks at his trusted friend Istarus. Istarus looks back smiles a bit. Lord Takeda will you be sending a delegate to this meeting. Hmmmm.... Istarus please write this down.

Dear Lady Annawen,
I am afraid that I will not be sending a representative from Isamu. Please do not take this as anything more then Isamu enjoying it's independence. If you wish we can sit down and talk about a mutual beneficial trade nonaggression pact between Isamu and your clan but at this time Isamu does not wish to be part of any formal alliance. Isamu and myself does not and continues not to have any issues with any other clans in the Islands. In fact we still continue to have close relationships with many of the clans.

I wish luck in your quest to unify the other clans.

Rryn read over the flyer and smiled. She was pleased to see the clans coming together for the betterment of the Tokuno Islands and especially for Zento. After adding the information to her personal calender, she penned a quick note to Lady Annawen.

Reifujin Annawen,
My friend, I was most pleased to receive your flyer after our recent conversation. I have marked the date in my calender. Please let me know the time and place when we shall all meet. Should you wish to use the teahouse , it is of course available for your use anytime. I shall forward a copy to the Shoguns of Isamu-Jima and Homare-Jima so that, should they take interest in the future plannings of events and trade for the islands, they might attend. Honor bless you and your household.

She dusted the ink lightly with fine sand to allow it to dry before she rolled the message and placed a wax seal to hold it. Carrying it down to the training yard, she approached a young samurai in training and handed him the message with a few gold coins and requested he get another copy of the flyer and take it to the palace in Isamu with the verbal message for Lord Takeda to contact her at his earliest convenience. He smiled and bowed and left the training yard immediately to deliver the messages. As for Tai, she knew where to find him and inform him of the meeting. But would he be well enough or even alive by then to travel for it ?
She could not answer that question.

Takeda practicing in the dojo hears a a knock on the door. A young samurai hands him a a flyer. Takeda looks over the flyer and remarks "I have seen this posted"

The young samurai then say "The empress requests your pressence at your earliet convenience"

Takeda smiles, politely bows. "If she requests my pressence I guess I should not keep her waiting I will ride back with you to meet her"

Takeda pack up and begins to ride towards Zento......
