She walked through the keep where her and Lestat lived making preparations for his return. He sent word a few days before and she was excited he was coming home. He had been away for a while and this house was so empty with him gone.

She hired locals to sweep the floors, remove the cobwebs and polish windows. It was going to be nice to have him home again. She missed their daily routine and watching him work his skills. She had been helping with the guild and trying to aid Lord Biggs who ran the Order of Hours in Lestat's stead but she knew it was still his baby so to speak.

With a light step and a smile she went back to work hoping the door would open and she be back in his arms again. For now all she could do was keep busy till that moment arrived.
