As the mist swirled around her face her skin crackled with remnants of glass. Peices of magic embedded deep in her skin. Closing her eyes she hurried to the Tower, perhaps there, she would find a way to remove them from her skin.

She clawed at her arm in irritation but only suceeded in causing a gaping wound. She was no fool, without the proper amount of blood put back in as the glass was removed from her body she would slip quickly into torpor. An Irony it was indeed, the vampire with bits of mirror stuck in her skin.

Slowly they were working deeper, they hindered her once graceful movements, she had to get them out and quickly....

She kneeled down in the room she used for her studies and touched the bracelet on her arm. Lord Barl was a busy fellow but his student needed his expertise...
