It had been a month or so when the last trade action between the Phoenix and Greater Malas had taken place,Annawen felt it was her job as guild mistress of the Dragon Samurai clan to once again set up a meeting between the two alliances.

After tucking Kohana and Keiko into their beds she peeked into her sons' room and smiled seeing Sashi reading to his little brother,"...your poppa will be proud to hear of your actions when he returns..,"she said to herself as she closed the door and moved into the bedroom she shared with her husband.

Sitting down at her desk, she picked up her feathered pen and began to write out a letter to Lord Shihan.

M'lord Shihan,

It has been a month or so since our last trade talk...and only a few days since I spoke with you,the Duchess and the Duke. I hope this letter finds her resting comfortably and listening to Lily, she is merely looking out for her and unborn child. Now then the second reason for this letter is that I will be speaking with our blacksmiths and tailors to see what it is they require and I am hoping you do the same so we may trade with each other again. Please let me know what it is your smiths and tailors require and if we can we will do our best to help with their needs.

-=Lady Annawen Murakama=-
-=Tejinashi-Ryuu=-
-=Dragon Samurai Clan=-

Sealing the letter with the crest of the Phoenix as well as the mark of the Dragon Samurai she stood up and moved out into the hall where her messenger awaited,"Miriam see that this gets to the Royal Court meeting hall...and into the hands of Shihan himself...,"she said as Miriam nodded and disappeared.

Taking a deep breathe Anna moved down into the meeting room and looked upon Serbitar,"anything yet on Ashi?,"she asked as he shook his head,"not yet m'lady...,"he said causing her to sigh and fight back tears. She knew she must be strong for the guild as well as her children until her husband's return.

Flipping through the paper work and sorting the days light mail Shihan place each piece in its proper file. The trade agreement paper was probably the highest piece for the day. Thinking about what was available for trade he thought he would ask the crafters and see what was needed. A quick replay would solve this and start the procedure for trading.

Taking out a pen and scroll he thought about what to put.

Lady Annawen,
The Duchess has taken you advice to heart and she is taking to staying closer to the house more then usual. Along with the problems with security we are having to put in place when she is moving around we have found its quite a bit easier to lock her up then let her out to play.

The trade alliance is of great benefit to both our guilds and I would like to thank you and William for taking time to work with us. We have been collecting many different types of commodities and need to make an inventory of what is available. I would like to purpose a meeting after we go threw inventories and see what would benefit both guilds and alliances mutually. I will contract you as soon as we have looked into our stocks.

Thank you for you time and advice,

"shihan-san, do you choose to block my entrance to this room?" and he stepped back and said, "Emperor, only a fool would fight you in a room this small."

“Ingots, ingots, ingots, so many ingots, I wonder how we got all of these ingots? Well I will have to talk to Annawen and see if they need ingots. I wonder if she has leather. I will have to ask that. Leather and dyed cloth. Yes, perhaps some of the guild colors. No that probably won’t be possible but perhaps leather.”

Shihan was talking to himself as he rifled through the inventory of items that he had been given by the crafters.

“I shall have to contact her tomorrow I guess.” He mumbled.

Annawen finished with the runebooks and slid them into her bag,"Perhaps the Duke and Duchess will like this as much as Ashi and I do..,"she said as she whistled softly causing her charger to appear before her,"lets go ole friend..we have to stop and get Chronepsis then be on our way to the guild house for the Gauntlet...,"she said as he knickered to her softly.

She had already sent word out to the Duke that she would be stopping by and that she was requested his presence as well as Lord Shihan's.

After grabbing Chronepsis from the stables she pulled out her runebook and chanted softly,"Vas Rel Por..,"as she spoke a gate opened that would lead her to the guild house.

"Lets go Chronepsis..,"she said as the dragon growled and moved behind her through the gate.Stepping through she dismounted from her charger then looked back to her pet,"wait here I will return..,"she said as he growled once again and stood still watching as his mistress moved inside.

"Good evening Lady Annawen,"the Duke said as she appeared infront of him,"good eve sir...I hope all is well...,"she said as he nodded and motioned for her to sit down,"Lord Shihan will be with us shortly...,"he said as she nodded and remained standing.

"This won't take but a moment..and I can give you the gift now and then give Shihan's to him when he arrives..,"she said as she pulled out the runebook and handed it to him,"Its a wedding gift to you and the Duchess...,"she said just as Shihan appeared.

"Ahhh Lady Annawen...how are you this eve.?,"he asked as he nodded to the Duke then sat down.

"I am well Lord Shihan...and like the Duke and Duchess I have a gift for you as well..,"she said as she handed him a runebook similar to the one she had passed to the Duke.

"Thank you...and are you here to talk trades...because I must admit I am not prepared...,"he said causing her to laugh softly,"worry not friend...we can meet tomorrow night and discuss it...,"she said as he nodded his head.

"That would be best...,"he said as he began to read through the runebook,"yes I agree..,"she said as she nodded to them both,"I will take my leave now...my children await me at home...,"she said then nodded and whistled for her charger.

"Thank you again Lady Annawen,"the Duke said as she was walking out the door,"no thanks are needed sir..and tell the Duchess to take it easy...Lily knows to call me if any complications arise...,"she said as he nodded his head.

Once outside she mounted her charger then once again chanted softly,"Vas Rel Por...,"a gate opening to Zento so she may stable her dragon before returning to the Nest for the night.
